General Terms of Trade

Guitar Gallery is an online shop of the MUSIK PRODUKTIV-Group. Since 1974 Musik Produktiv has been in the distribution trade and we would not be one of the most popular music shops in Europe, if goodwill and flexibility had not always belonged to our comprehensive range of services.

DHL (German Post)
Standard deliveries of packages up to 31,5 kg weight and max. 2 m length, are sent within Germany by DHL. The delivery can be made on every workday (Mondays to Saturdays). If the deliverer does not meet you, he will put a notification in your letter box which states by which DHL-branch your package can be collected. In practice DHL is equivalent with the post. Especially in rural areas packages will be delivered by your postman.

If you have a post-office or postal branch in town, then the package will be stored at the nearest branch for up to 7 days where it can be collected. Charge forward deliveries can also be cashed at these locations.

Attention: All COD packages will be charged additional € 2,- by DHL/Post! 

In many cities so called “packing stations” from DHL are available. Packing stations are machines which allow you to collect your package at any time of the day or night. To do so the address of the packing station must be stated on order. Every packing station has a number (e.g. 104). Therefore you can place an order through your home address and state the packing station as the delivery address. More information can be found online at (Menu item: DHL Packstation). Here you can find a national directory of all packing stations and there corresponding numbers.

UPS (United Parcel Service)
For all deliveries inside the EU UPS is our standard forwarder. UPS has a distinguished tracking system. Deliveries within the EU are carried out within a few days.

Express ...and more
Our delivery hotline ( or phone: +49(0)5451-909108) is happy to help when it comes to express deliveries or special requests. A DHL express-package inside Germany costs 15,- to 30,- € depending on weight which is an inexpensive possibility to be able to receive your order the next day. We will be happy to provide advice. However, it is a precondition that the article is on stock and has package size.

per PayPal:
PayPal is an online payment service which allows you to pay secure, simple and quick – and this free of charge.

per Direct Debit (for customers with online banking):
With sofortü you cannot only pay us, but at more than 8.000 other online shops. Just pay your shopping basket through your online banking account (with your house bank). All you need is an account number, bank code, PIN and TAN.

per Prepayment:
If you choose prepayment, we will send you an order confirmation or an invoice in advance via email, on which you can view your entire order details and the required account information. Please transfer the money only after receipt of your order confirmation stating the order number. We will ship immediately after payment has been made.


The invoice is on the outside of your package. It contains all the net unit prices and the total amount (including VAT) so that you can see what you have been charged at a glance.

Warranty and Guarantee
There is a 24-month-warranty on all new goods from delivery to you (transfer of risk). Guarantee is granted for each product according to the manufacturer's notice. The nature and scope of the guarantee can be taken from the respective product documentation.


The right of return is 30 days from the delivery date. The refund will be made by check, bank transfer or (for credit card purchase) to the card account (see right of return under instructions for customers).
Please send the complete article (including all accessories, instructions, etc.) in the original package back to us. This way you help simplify the order procedure.
Please note: Only if the return is complete and free of scratches you will receive the original invoice amount back non-bureaucratically. As a basic principle, customized or modified goods as well as goods which were ordered especially for you are excluded from the right of return.
In the case of an effective cancellation the mutually received benefits must be reimbursed and if applicable any benefits (e.g. benefits from use) released. In the case of a deterioration of the goods compensation can be claimed. This does not apply if the deterioration of the goods is exclusively lead back to their testing – as would have been in a retail store. By the way, you can avoid the obligation to pay compensation by not taking the product into use as an owner and by omitting everything that leads to a value drawback. Our experiences have taught us that certain deterioration or incomplete returns have caused value losses.
Important: The transfer of return costs is only possible during the legal return period of 14 days. The goods must be in perfect new condition. Non-removable signs of use completely obviate a withdrawal or can only be offset against a reduced redemption price. Please do not send non-free returns!

Guitar Gallery sells music instruments (guitars and basses). Product details can be taken from the sale documents or from our internet offers as well as from the documents which accompany the products. 

Service and Delivery Exceptions

Guitar Gallery/Musik Produktiv Distribution reserves the right to step back from accepting the order if the goods are not available or cannot be delivered for any other reason.

Article Prices and Additional Delivery costs
All prices are quoted in Euro, including VAT and further fees for sales inside Germany. All goods are insured against the risk of loss or damage. In the case of special deliveries, like express or courier deliveries or exceptional charges for packing or transport, additional fees will be added to the real price and stated in advance if required. Fees for posting abroad will be stated on request.


All goods must be paid no later than on receipt of goods, including shipping costs and remain the property of Guitar Gallery/Musik Produktiv Distribution until all payment has been made. Delivery and return occurs within the return period of Musik Produktiv on selected shipping routes. The delivery is insured through us. If other transport routes are requested, the delivery costs go to your risk.

Right of Return

Your right of return, valid for private users inside the European Union: Guitar Gallery/Musik Produktiv GmbH & Co.Kg grants an unconditional right of return of 30 days from receipt of delivery on all goods ordered. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to return the goods as post parcel or non-post parcel to Musik Produktiv GmbH & Co.Kg. A justification is not required. However, it would be nice if you could state the reason for return. After the statutory period of 14 days the customer must bear the costs for the return delivery. Specialized or customized goods are excluded from the right of return.

For orders from Germany we bear the costs of return as long as you make use of the possibilities proposed to you by us. These are: return delivery by post with the return sticker enclosed in your delivery or return delivery by UPS or another forwarding agency of our choice. Return deliveries by express or courier service is not refundable. Please do not send any unfree returns. Especially return deliveries as offered by private delivery services will not be paid by us. Please use our return service. Only this is free of charge. In the case of orders posted from abroad the cost must be carried by the customer. 

Refund will be paid per check, bank transfer or credit (by credit card payment) immediately, but latest within 14 days after receipt of the goods which are to be free of defects, undamaged and outright. Outstanding payments for interest and acquittance will be cancelled. If you have already taken the goods into use, we hold the right to demand remuneration. Furthermore, you are engaged to refund any value losses if the goods show signs of use or have been damaged by you.
