I’m a guitarist who is currently playing in two semi-professional bands having picked up my first guitar when I was 14. In the past, I have been on the same bill as The Yardbirds, Ike Turner, The Hamsters, Otis Grand, The Hoax and many others. I also have a number of students, ranging from beginners to intermediates, that I teach on a regular basis. I am a big Fender fan, owning a Korean Telecaster and American Strats as well as a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul.
I joined Musik Produktiv in early 2005, having worked with Ian at a previous company and it was an „easy decision“ for Musik Produktiv to employ me due to my „vast knowledge“ of guitars and effects pedals.

I am a keen guitar player and drummer and have been playing in various bands since I was 12. I owned many guitars during the years including Epiphones, Gibsons and Fenders but I’m currently a PRS man. My love of music started when I bought my first vinyl album, „Master of Reality“ by Black Sabbath and now I have an evergrowing music collection of over 2000 albums. The first thing to go on in the morning is the radio, closely followed by the kettle. At the moment though, I spend more time on the golf course than in the studio pursuing my second favourite pastime and I am a single figure handicapper.
I joined Musik Produktiv in 2003 and I’m a valued and knowledgeable member of the sales team advising on PA and studio setups as well as guitars and keyboards.

As Head of the department for String instruments it is my responsibility to purchase guitars for the “Guitar Gallery”. That this part of my job is the most fun part is obvious… and is down to G.A.S., or better known as "Gear Acquisition Syndrome". This of which has been painfully accompanying me since the beginning of my time as a guitarist. Those of you that have had the opportunity of opening a case with a brand new Gibson guitar inside, and also experienced the combination of that unique scent of varnish with the unavoidable “I must have” feeling, knows exactly what i am talking about! This is why i count the days where i can spend my time in the Fender Custom Shop Lounge studying the newly delivered guitars for the “Guitar Gallery” as the most tempting of all. Have fun while browsing!

As I tried my first guitar chords (a long long time ago), my idols were playing with Fender or Gibson guitars. Interestingly nothing at all has changed, as with my love to traditional American E-guitars. I have been in the music business for over 20 years, and during this time I have seen a whole lot of guitars. My boss mentioned a while ago that “I probably know each guitar personally”. Well that’s not true …but I gave him the names of half of them!

Kaiser Franz I. is the eponym of my favourite football club, Iggy Pop the creator of my favourite music and Martin Seeliger developed my favourite guitar. So … now that’s the basic information about my life. During the week i can be found selling guitars for the Guitar Gallery at Musik Produktive, where i am also responsible for assembly of pick-ups and servicing of the instruments. At the weekend i bath myself in music culture - on the Punk Rock stage around Osnabrueker or in the stadium of second favourite football club VFL Osnabruek (the journey to Ferencváros Budapest is a little too far)!

Being a professional musician, guitarist and Recording Engineer with Venezuelan roots, I spent many years globetrotting befor finally landing here at Musik produktiv, where I have found my own personal “Eldorado” and a very special treasure … guitars in abundance!

I have been advising customers (especially the female customers) in the acoustic guitar department here at Musik produktiv since 2004. In my opinion, music is a belief, a global language that can join generations across continents, and I feel it´s my obligation to further my knowledge by keeping up with technical progression and development. Helping each person to find their own musical path.

My Passion lies with Four fat strings and cracking grooves. I´ve been here in MP´s Guitar department for around 11 years now, with emphasis toward advising and service for Subwoofer etc. I purchased my first 4-string about 17 years ago, and had my first rehearsal the next day. After six months of rehearsing in the cellar, came my first Live show.

To my fellow rhythmical collegues with an inclination to that something special, I can only recommend you take a regular look at our “Guitar Gallery”. You won´t get a better chance of finding a piece of treasure anywhere else online. I myself play a 71 Fender Jazz Bass, i do however like swapping to my StingRay.

Better late than never: After 7 years of Piano lessons and noticing that I was quite free of talent (apart from that, the girls are always attracted to the frontmen!), I did as many other 14 year olds, I changed my tune and began an active carree as a guitarist in a dance band. Now, after 33 years and about 2000 appearances later, i have the suspicion that a certain Heinz Strunk has been following me since my childhood, and is now raking in the merit for the his book “Fleisch ist mein Gemüse“ (which translated means “Meat is my vegetables”) that actually belong to me.

My first appearance at “Musik Produktiv” was in 1981 as the first trainee in sales. After a few detours, i landed here in the IT (Information Technology) department where I´m also reponsable for the photos in the Guitar Gallery. My only comfort alone in the darkroom, that these new and old classics do not belong to me is … I can atleast imagine they are mine ... if only for a short while!!

As I realised at the beginning of the 70s that studying to be a teacher and /or Top 40 band appearances were not exactly brilliant, Odo the patron saint of musicians, shone his mercy upon me and graced me with another idea to do with the music business. That Musik Produktiv would become very familiar with musicians and still bring inspiring challenges in the 40 years thereafter is down to the great team here and their readiness to try out my sometimes very special ideas and make them reality.

The Guitar Gallery is currently my favourite project. As the idea first came to me 10 years ago the realization was simply unthinkable, not only due to the exorbitant price of a good digital camera but also because of the miserable transmission rate of the World Wide Web. You can imagine how pleasing it is to see the realization of the Online-shop for exclusive guitars is for me!
